It is said that success is 80% confidence, 20% specific skills and knowledge. Triple E focuses on showing you how to calmly say to yourself “I can deal with it” no matter what challenges, people and risks might get in your way of achieving your job and corporate goals or even your personal goals and dreams. Business Coaching Success is 80% confidence. Does your organisation easily cope with change, new challenges and workload? Empower your staff to enjoy what they do at work – and perhaps in their personal lives. Business coaching is about helping a business stay on a path to achieve its goals – long term, medium term and even daily goals. But having a positive thinking attitude is perhaps the most critical element to be able to cope with what changes, challenges, workload, worries and frustrations seem to get in the way. Triple E helps you to recognize all your goals and most importantly to identify all the negative feelings that might be getting in the way – what makes you angry and annoyed and what causes you stress and worry. Many goals fail because of the subconscious “yes buts” that people attach to a goal. We then teach you a simple positive thinking technique to identify and dissolve those negative feelings. You will simply shrug off those negative feelings and get on with it. This technique can be used anytime generally in seconds whenever a new situation, task or interaction with people causes stress and frustration.
How this
coaching could proceed…. When we teach this process to business staff, we generally conduct a short introductory group session to explain and learn how the positive thinking technique works. It’s non-confrontational; we don’t ask anyone to reveal their feelings if they don’t wish to. We then move on to a top down or bottom up approach to apply our coaching – or a mixture of both. Top down approach We start by clarifying your business vision and mission, key objectives and current goals. We then discuss what are the negative feelings that are getting in the way of us naturally staying focused, such as: The vision seems unattainable; the goals are set too high; we don’t have the time or staff. Many of these could easily be identified from your strategic SWOT analysis as weaknesses and threats. We then apply the positive thinking technique to shrug off any negative feelings and feel naturally confident you can cope with everything. A reminder - we are not giving you the solutions to resolve the problem, but giving you the confidence that will allow you to feel calm, tolerant, and confident and to think more rationally and be more motivated to get on to solve problems and achieve results. We then advance the process further by identifying for each goal or related project a list of, say, 10 action items. Again, we examine any negatives hanging off doing each task and use the technique to get over it and get on with it. These action plans for each goal and project become the focus for monitoring change and achievements in your organisation. Bottom up approach We start by asking staff to identify their key responsibilities (objectives) and identify current goals and projects. We redefine how to maintain a daily action plan and identify those negative feelings that get in our way from doing things efficiently and effectively; and apply the positive thinking technique to focus on our tasks and goals.

I also supported personal coaching, because I recognize emotional issues out of work can affect personal performance at work. The increase in confidence by staff to talk to me was a pleasant outcome. Some individuals have applied it to all aspects of their lives”. David Brown, CEO, South West Credit Union, Warrnambool, Victoria. “The first coaching session provided by my CEO had a major positive effect on me. Further sessions have changed my attitude to work and life. I also arranged for Triple E to give my 11 year old daughter a session as she had numerous emotional issues. My daughter and I have worked together with the technique and our relationship has improved wonderfully and my daughter is now a much more confident girl” T.M., Victoria. “Thank you Colin, you have teached me well” On a thank you card from the above 11 year old. “All my staff have attended an introductory course and thoroughly enjoyed a new way of understanding emotions and how they can quickly deal with their feelings. We will now look at applying it to specific problem areas”. Company CEO, Melbourne. “I enjoyed the training experience provided by my employer. I saw the opportunity for Triple E to give my teenage son some public speaking training who hated public speaking. My son had just one hour public speaking training in October, and in his year end report his teacher reported a positive change in his demeanour when speaking, and he was to be congratulated on his amazing improvement. Thank you, Colin” M.H., Melbourne
